Newspapers will be advised when audits are to commence and conclude. The current audit periods are January-June and July-December for daily, non-daily and weekly newspapers. All other newspapers audit annually for the period 1 January to 31 December.

Publishers have one month after the close of an audit period to finalise their information and have their auditors submit the information via the website, for approval. The results of these audits will be available approximately 40 days after the close of the audit period.
